Project Location: Bradford Bridge 1 spans across the Waits River, which is located about two-tenths of a mile from VT 25 intersection.

Bridge Closure Period – Bridge 1 on VT 25B will remain closed to all traffic thru September 8th, 2017.

Project construction updates will be issued bi-weekly throughout the closure period. The next update will be issued on July 27th.

Progress Update – June 30th thru July 13th, 2017

Over the last two weeks, crews have made great progress on the project. Pile driving at abutments 1 & 2 was completed and precast abutments 1 & 2 were set in place.  Two of the four precast wingwalls were also placed and the stone fill slope at abutment 1 was shaped.

Work plan for July 14th 2017 thru July 27th, 2017

For the remainder of July, crews will be focusing on setting the remaining two precast wingwalls followed by backfilling of the abutments and wingwalls. The stone fill slope for abutment 2 will also be shaped.  Bearing devices for the steel girders will be set in preparation of the steel girders being set.

It is illegal in VT to use any handheld portable electronic devices while driving. The law carries fines of up to $200 with points assessed if the violation occurs in a work zone.
